The Director of Projects has proven to be trustworthy and a man of his word. Project will begin next week only because of delay with solar company date for removal and reinstallation of transformer.

While the job is not yet complete, he himself is overseeing the project and I have a new contractor. So both issues I had, ineffective project manager and contractor, have been removed.

Have had successful intervention with the Director of Projects and new contractor. We are going to move ahead with them with their assurances.

I am going to trust them, hopefully my calls and emails made a difference. Will keep posting until job is complete.

Have been in contact with both VP and Director of Operations. VP said he does not understand why email was kicked back, I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Director of Operations would like to discuss, would like us to get the job done and have a sit down. I will give them a chance.

I want the job completed, well and within a reasonable amount of time. Project manager seems to stink, I think he needs a different job as communication skills are poor.

We signed a contract in November of 2018 for siiding and two windows. At the time of signing, a 3,000 deposit was required and paid.

Job was set to begin end of December, early January 2019. The one and only time the project mgr came to the house with the salesman, he asked if they could finish a larger job first before starting ours. My husband agreed and we thought we would be starting in February. Let me say it was a rainy spring.

however, there is no excuse for the lack of contact or follow up. We had to call them in March to find out what was happening and we were told there was an issue with Marvin Windows, something with the warehouse or a personnel issue. I think we were forgotten. About two weeks later we get the call that the windows are in and set a date for installment of the windows.

That was April 17, 2019. A second check was required at the time of the window installation in the amount of 9,765. We received a call the next day, April 18, thanking us for the check and telling us we would get a call the following week to set up for the siding installation. The call never came.

My husband called the project mgr on June 5, we waited 24 hours, no response. He then called the salesman we dealt with on June 6, no response. We called the service dept number (all three of these numbers were written in our folder for us to contact them when needed at the time of the contract signing) on June 7 and someone calls us back to tell us we should contact the project mgr. What a wonderful idea!!

If only he returned calls. After I let out my frustrations with all of the above information, the project mgr calls back, says he will send a person on Saturday to have a look. June 8, someone shows up, mutters about being from Alure and said he is going to check out the job. In less than 5 minutes, he was gone.

What could he possibly observe in that time? We wait for a call back, nothing. I then write to the VP of Customer Service, Mike Camastro and the Director of Projects, Frank Stehlik and explain our situation. By the end of the day, we received a call from the VP and the Project mgr saying our job will be done in a couple of weeks.

VP said July 8, project mgr says the 15th. Today is July 16th and I received a text from proj mgr saying installer's truck broke down on the way to the house,, project to begin Tuesday, July 16. No one showed, no one came. Now the VP said he wanted to show up when the project started and was keeping in contact with us, suddenly, he didn't show up (which means he knew they were not coming today) and when I emailed him to find out what was happening, my email was blocked by his server!!

Now, we just don't want them here, which is what I said in my email to VP and Director of Operations.

Deduct the cost of the two windows and give us back the bulk of the funds. I do not understand how a business runs this way.

I suppose you get enough people you don't really worry about your reputation. What a disappointment.

Everything has been a lie, everything.

Reason of review: Waiting 8 months for job to be done while they have our money.

Alure Home Improvements Cons: Time frame specified, Take your money.

I have read many of the reviews and have to agree. Deceitful liars are the first 2 words that come to mind when dealing with this company.

I was lied to and the salesman talked me in circles from day one. I called management and all he has is excuses to defend the poor customer relations of the salesman without even knowing the job. They say they cannot give me an itemized bill because it does not work that way, yet when I ask why certain things are priced a certain price they know the price for add ons. Add ons?

A project was discussed and lies were told. They do not care about quality or customer satisfaction. I was not given choices to all of the materials. Even when I asked for certain things with the ridiculous prices they charged I am ignored and they order and install whatever they want.

I am beginning to think they want to get rid of overstocked inventory and steal hard earned money to pay for it instead of follow the customers request. They do not answer questions make mistakes and choices of their own and then lie and make excuses and actually charge you for thier errors.

If you want to be broke and stressed out while working hard to provide a nice home for your family then you have reached out the right company. I would not recommend and my complaints will go further until someone listens and checks their facts before talking me in circles and making up lies to defend incompetence.

Totally just happened to me. Everything you wrote here is true.

Minor issues i need to be taken care of and my Project Mgr never showed up when he should.

They are not getting my final check until all things are taken care of. The End.
